A reminder that check-in is from 4 pm and check-out is 10 am. Either from The Base Ski Hire during the winter season or Jindabyne Real Estate over the remainder of the year.

Fuse Box: Located in the hall cupboard next to the separate toilet

Meter Box: Located to the right of the house outside

Water Mains: Located at the mailbox at the entry to driveway

Gas Bottles: Located at the front of the house near yellow bins

If you are having repeated issues with circuits tripping they may be overloaded.

Heating and Hot Water

Heating

  • Wood fireplace in the lounge, firewood is included and located on right hand side of house under the deck.
    • If fire wood is getting low please contact Accommodation Jindabyne ASAP on 02 6456 2216
  • Gas heater in the lounge
    • To use:
      • Push the front control button firmly
      • Check that the centre burner has lit
      • Hold the button down for 15 seconds then release
  • Reverse cycle air conditioner in the living area
    • The remote is located on the wall to the left of the unit near the external door

Hot Water

  • 2 Gas hot water systems located on walls on either side of house

    • To use: press on/off, select the wash program and press start

      • To use the one under the microwave:
        • Turn the function dial (left) to the setting
        • Turn the temperature dial (right) to select the temperature.
        • This will be displayed on the clock.
        • Press OK once you have the right temperature
  • 5 Burner Gas Stove Top and Oven
    • Standard operation for stove top: Press down the dial of desired element and it will self ignite. Turn to adjust flame
    • Standard operation for oven: Turn dials for function, temperature and timer

Television/DVD

  • Soniq flat-screen TV with USB and HDMI ports
  • Samsung DVD player
    • To watch a DVD: on the TV remote select source, and select HDMI1
  • TVs in all bedrooms with DVD players

Laundry 

  • Fisher & Paykel Washing Machine
    • To use: press the power button, select the wash cycle, the water temperature, the water level, spin speed, and press start
  • Hoover Dryer
    • Standard operation: Turn dial for drying time on warm or hot, close door and press in button

Drying Area

  • A large drying area is located withing the laundry at the entrance to the house
  • Hanging racks and shelves for clothes
  • Wall mounted boot dryer

Large deck running down one side and rear of home with BBQ and dining. The backyard offers an outdoor chess set and small grassy lawn.

The BBQ needs to be cleaned after each stay or additional charges may apply.

If you run out of gas during your stay, please call us within business hours and we can provide a replacement. If after hours, please swap it over at Mitre 10 or a service station and we will reimburse you the cost, simply email a receipt to info@jre.net.au and your bank details and we can process the refund.

  • Access via battle-axe driveway

  • Space for boat parking

Stairs to access

  • 6 stairs down to the lawn area from rear deck

Garbage

  • Garbage bin enclosure located half way up the driveway
  • Collection Friday morning
  • Red wheelie bins will be put out by guest

Recycling

  • Recycling bin enclosure located at house end of drive way under the tree
  • Collection every 2nd Monday morning
  • Yellow wheelie bins will be put out by guest
  • Watch the neighbours for guidance

If your bins are full prior to collection day, please contact our office on 02 6456 2216.

Please ensure all garbage is taken out to bins provided upon departure to avoid any excess cleaning charges.
