A reminder that check-in is from 4 pm and check-out is 10 am. Either from The Base Ski Hire during the winter season or Jindabyne Real Estate over the remainder of the year.

Please note that this is a regional area and the services can be overloaded and slower during peak times.

Utilities

Fuse Box: Located in the room through the laundry on the right-hand side wall

Meter Box: Located on the external side of the garage as you drive in the driveway

Water Mains : Located underneath the clothesline (exit the laundry external door)

Gas bottles : Located on the left-hand side of the driveway near the fence.

If you are having repeated issues with circuits tripping they may be overloaded.

 

Heating and Hot Water

Heating

  • Reverse cycle air conditioning in the living area.
    • Both heating and cooling – Sun for heating snowflake for cooling.
    • During winter the heater may pause to defrost the external unit. It will restart automatically once this is complete.
  • Electric heaters in bedrooms
    • Ensure the switches at the wall are on and the switch up top
    • Please turn these off when leaving the house.
    • Please note do not put anything on the electric heaters as it is a fire risk.
  • Rinnai gas log fireplace in the living area
    • Hold in ignite button to light and press in additional flame buttons for more heat
    • Red light mean heater is off

Hot water

Gas Hot Water – please be mindful of the gas usage so as not to run out.

The kitchen is stocked with all the basic amenities such as

Appliances

  • Westinghouse Dishwasher
    • To use: press the power button, select a program, press the start button
    • There are 3 drawers with the cutlery drawer up top
  • Euro Electric Oven
    • To use: turn the dial to cycle, press the start button
    • The timer needs to be engage for the oven to start heating up
  • Chef electric Stove Top
    • Standard operation: Turn dial for desired element for heat control

Television/DVD

  • Large Samsung flat-screen TV with USB ports 
  • Samsung DVD player
    • To watch DVD: On TV Remote select source Select AV Samsung
  • Surround sound system
  • Flat-screen TVs in both queen bedrooms

iPod/Stereo

  • LG MP3 player
  • CD player

Bathrooms

  • Main bathroom downstairs with shower, vanity and toilet
  • Ensuite upstairs with separate shower & spa bath, vanity and toilet

Laundry

  • Simpson Front Loader
    • To use: Turn the dial to cycle, press the start button
  • Simpson Dryer
    • To use: Turn dial to the amount and close the door (the safety button on the door needs to be pressed)
    • Do not overload the dryer
  • Clothesline at the back of the house through the laundry exit door

  • Located off the laundry
  • There is a boot dryer which to operate you turn the switch on the right-hand side and turn the dial for the timer.
  • There is a hard-wired oil heater to warm the room as well.

  • Gas 2 burner BBQ on the deck

The BBQ needs to be cleaned after each stay or additional charges may apply.

If you run out of gas during your stay, please call us within business hours and we can provide a replacement. If after hours, please swap it over at Mitre 10 or a service station and we will reimburse you the cost, simply email a receipt to info@jre.net.au and your bank details and we can process the refund.

Parking/Garage (boat/cars)

  • Double garage & 2 off-street parking spaces.
  • The garage has a height of 2.3m so please be aware of your car height

Please do not pull the red cord as this will disengage the garage door. If the motor is working and the chain is moving this may have been disengaged.

Stairs for access 

  • 17 carpeted stairs to the upper level from the entrance

Garbage

  • Collection Friday morning
  • Red wheelie bins to be put out by the guest

Recycling

  • Pick up every 2nd Monday morning
  • Yellow wheelie bins will be put out by the guest
  • Watch the neighbours for reference

If your bins are full prior to collection day, please contact our office on 02 6456 2216.

Please ensure all garbage is taken out to bins provided upon departure to avoid any excess cleaning charges.
