A reminder that check-in is from 4 pm and check-out is 10 am. Either from The Base Ski Hire during the winter season or Jindabyne Real Estate over the remainder of the year.

Utilities

External Fuse Box: Located on the eastern wall near laundry door.

Meter Box: Located outside to the left side of the house on the upper level.

Water Mains: Located at back left hand corner of block (Eastern side).

Gas Bottles: Located on the left-hand side of the house on the lower level.

If you are having repeated issues with circuits tripping they may be overloaded.

Heating and Hot Water

Heating

  • Wood fire in the main lounge
    • Wood supplied to guests free of charge
  • Electric heaters in bedrooms set on timers will come on in the morning and afternoon
    • Heaters set to 22C
    • Timers in bedrooms are set to operate between 4am-8am and  4pm – 12 midnight
    • Timer in main loungeroom is set to operate 5am-9am and 3pm-9pm
  • Reverse cycle air con in the second lounge area

Hot water

Gas hot water system is located on the eastern wall near laundry door

    • To operate: press the power button and select a program, then press the start button

    • Gas Cooktop
    • Press down on the dial and turn, the burners will self-ignite

Television/DVD

  • Samsung Smart TV, and Samsung Blu-ray player in the main lounge room
    • To watch a DVD: turn on the TV, select source on the TV remote, then select HDMI3
  • Samsung TV, Sony DVD player in the second lounge room
    • To watch: select source on the TV remote

Bathrooms

  • The main bathroom upstairs has a shower over corner bath, toilet and vanity
  • Ensuite downstairs has a shower, toilet and vanity

Laundry

  • Fisher & Paykel Washing Machine
    • To operate:
      • Press the power button
      • Select the wash progress
      • Press the start button with the water level set to auto

Drying Area

  • An electric heater set to 1 hour can be found in the drying room.
    • To operate: press the button on the wall

Large entertaining balcony with seating, BBQ and spectacular lake views. Additional courtyard and yard. 

  • 4 burner and wok burner gas BBQ located on the deck

The BBQ needs to be cleaned after each stay or additional charges may apply.

If you run out of gas during your stay, please call us within business hours and we can provide a replacement. If after hours, please swap it over at Mitre 10 or a service station and we will reimburse you the cost, simply email a receipt to info@jre.net.au and your bank details and we can process the refund.

Parking/Garage (boat/cars)

Best access to garage is via the access road at the end of Alpensee Weg

  • Double lock-up garage
  • Additional off-street parking for 2 cars
  • Please do not block access to the care takers flat

Stairs (to property and inside property)

  • 17 internal stairs

Garbage

  • Collection Thursday morning
  • Red wheelie bins will be put out by the grounds manager

Recycling

  • Pick up every 2nd Thursday morning
  • Yellow wheelie bins will be put out by the grounds manager

If your bins are full prior to collection day, please contact our office on 02 6456 2216.

Please ensure all garbage is taken out to bins provided upon departure to avoid any excess cleaning charges.
