A reminder that check-in is from 4 pm and check-out is 10 am. Either from The Base Ski Hire during the winter season or Jindabyne Real Estate over the remainder of the year.

Fuse Box: Located in cupboard across from the laundry.

Meter Box Cabin: Located on the left side of the cabin wall.

Meter box House: Located in room opposite the laundry. (Garage has separate one inside but is not accessible by guests)

Water Mains:

Gas Bottles: Located in SE corner of the front fence for house

If you are having repeated issues with circuits tripping they may be overloaded.

Heating and Hot Water



  • Central heating throughout all with remote – kitchen/ dining / sitting area / media room / study / bed 4
    • Heating is set at 25 degrees
    • To turn on, best to use just the power button on the sides on the heaters – its the diagonal corner to the red light.
    • When turning on, WAIT up to 5 mins for it to kick in.

Hot Water

Main house electric system is located in cupboard across from laundry.

Cabin has instant gas hot water.

Blinds have a remote control to operate

  • Kitchen remote is on the edge of the bench near the windows
    • Arrow up and they will all (8 blinds) go up.
    • Down is down arrow.
    • No need to use any other arrows.
  • Lounge blind remote is behind the Wi-Fi fixed to the back of the wall.
    • All blinds programmed to go up together.
    • Hold the up button for a few seconds and they will all go fully up.

  •  Washing Machine Bosch
    • Standard operation: Turn dial to select cycle, press start
    • Recommendation: 1 is a good cycle – 50 mins, good wash, high spin speed and cold water.
  • Dryer Bosch
    • Standard operation: Turn dial to select cycle, press start
    • IMPORTANT NOTE: The dryer wont dry if the water cartridge is full
      • To empty: top left pulls out and drain in the laundry sink.
  • Heated towel rails in laundry with additional clothes horses



Downstairs there is a large rumpus room with Ping Pong Table and Full sized Gym.

You should be in good physical condition and able to participate in the exercise. If you engage in this exercise or exercise program, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, and assume all risk of injury to yourself.

NOTE: The Pool and Sauna is not for guest use.

Entertaining area downstairs off the gym with seating, double gas BBQ and outdoor kitchen including a sink for washing up.

Bungalow has small court yard with seating and Webber BBQ.

Upstairs balcony with seating and views.

The BBQ needs to be cleaned after each stay or additional charges may apply.

If you run out of gas during your stay, please call us within business hours and we can provide a replacement. If after hours, please swap it over at Mitre 10 or a service station and we will reimburse you the cost, simply email a receipt to info@jre.net.au and your bank details and we can process the refund.

Parking/Garage (boat/cars)

  • Two cars can be parking in driveway in front of garage with gates closed/locked
  • A third vehicle could fit in driveway if gates are kept open

Stairs to access

  • 11 stairs from driveway to front door
  • 16 stairs from entry to upstairs level
  • 18 stairs from entry level to downstairs room and gym

Key tips and tricks

  • Bungalow: use just the key to turn the lock, no handle needed (and only confuses the lock).
  • All glass doors (cabin, gym area) and house windows handles: pointing to 6 o’clock is locked, 3o’clock is open.  Inside windows 12 o’clock opens from the top (they are European windows).
  • Cabin: turn handle up to 3 o’clock to open door


  • Collection Tuesday morning
  • Red wheelie bins to be put out by guests


  • Pick up every 2nd Tuesday morning
  • Yellow wheelie bins to be put out by guests
  • Watch the neighbours for guidance

Please ensure all garbage is taken out to bins provided upon departure to avoid any excess cleaning charges.
