A reminder that check-in is from 4 pm and check-out is 10 am. Either from The Base Ski Hire during the winter season or Jindabyne Real Estate over the remainder of the year.

Utilities

Fuse Box: No internal fusebox

Meter Box: Located on back wall behind the kitchen

Water Mains: Located in front lawn to the right of driveway

If you are having repeated issues with circuits tripping they may be overloaded.

Heating and Hot Water

Heating:

  • Bedroom 1, 2 and 3 have portable column heaters. Recommendation is to leave them on low all the time during your stay.
  • The Living Area has a reverse cycle air-conditioner. Please turn it off whenever going out.

Hot Water Tank:

  • Located in the locked ‘Owners Closet’ in the Garage. If you have issues with hot water, please call us.

Kitchen

The kitchen is stocked with all the basic amenities such as

  • Microwave
  • Kettle

  • Electric Fry Pan
  • Sandwich Press
  • Rice Cooker
  • 3 Cup Stovetop Coffee Maker

Appliances

  • Miele Dishwasher – Dishwasher capsules located in the cupboard under the sink.
    • To use:
      • Turn the right dial to the water temperature,
      • Turn the left dial to select cycle
      • Dishwasher will start automatically
  • St George Electric Oven
    • To use:
      • Set to ‘Oven’ mode on center knob
      • Select the temperature on the left knob
      • The griller is a separate switch on the right
  • Electric Stove Top
    • Standard operation: use dials select desired element
    • Please note the rangehood slides out to start

Television

  • Kogan TV with USB, AV and HDMI ports. Use the Black Remote for TV.
  • A new Chrome Cast (Google TV Streamer (4K)) for streaming services. Use the White Remote for Streaming Services. You can either select the house account called ‘Jindy House’ or add your own account during your stay. Please ensure you log out of all personal accounts on streaming services when departing the property.
  • Further instructions for how to watch live TV or access Streaming Services are located on a card next to the TV.

Clock Radio 

  • For local radio and checking the time.

Bathrooms

  • Main bathroom with shower over bath including toilet
  • Separate toilet
  • Second bathroom with shower and toilet off the laundry

Laundry

  • Simpson Washing Machine
    • To use:
      • Turn the dial to select cycle
      • Press button to select wash temperature
      • Press button to select rinse temperature
      • Press button to select wash action
      • Pull dial out to start
  • Simpson Dryer
    • Standard operation: Turn dial for desired dry time, toggle for warm or hot, close the door and press button in handle to start
    • Ensure lint trap is cleaned after each use

 

A Drying Room is located on the Right Hand Side of the Garage as you enter.

There is a light switch on the left hand side as you enter the Drying Room.

After skiing, please put all of your gear here to dry:

  • Racks for your Skis, Snowboards, Stocks.
  • Hangers for your gloves, hats, scarves, etc.
  • Hangers for your Jackets, Ski Pants.
  • Ski Boots can be left on the floor.

Then turn the Wall Heater on low and leave it running overnight to dry your gear.

For Air-Drying your clothes on sunny days:

  • Clothes line in the back yard.
  • Portable clothes line (stored in the laundry).
  • Pegs are kept in the cabinet in the laundry.

Stairs (to property and inside property)

  • 5 stairs to the front door

Parking/Garage

  • 1 garage with 2.1 clearance
  • Additional off street spaces in the driveway
  • Room for a boat in driveway
  • The light switch in the garage is located on the right-hand-side as you enter.

Garbage: 

  • Collection Friday morning.
  • Red wheelie bins will be put out by guest.

Recycling:

  • Pick up every 2nd Monday morning.
  • Yellow wheelie bins will be put out by guest.
  • Watch the neighbours for reference.

If your bins are full prior to collection day, please contact our office on 02 6456 2216.

Please ensure all garbage is taken out to bins provided upon departure to avoid any excess cleaning charges.

Items for your comfort and convenience:

  • Board Games and Coffee Table Books
    • These are kept on the shelves in the TV Unit.
  • Umbrellas
    • Small ones are kept in the laundry cupboard.
    • Big ones are kept in the garage.
  • Computer Monitor with a ‘VGA to Display Port’ cable to use with your laptop
    • This is kept in the Kitchen Cupboard next to the Fridge.
  • Spare Mouses to use with your laptop
    • These are kept in a drawer in the TV Unit.
  • Spare batteries for the Black Remote Control and Air-Conditioning Control
    • These are kept in a drawer in the TV Unit.
