Perfect for a summer break with friends

Alison Gibbins - 5th January 2023

Wonderful for a large group, Lakefront worked beautifully for our two-family holiday. Short walk to Jindabyne shops and restaurants, with a peaceful view from the spacious deck and access to the lake. We appreciated the rumpus room for the kids and plenty of bathrooms. Touches like new carpet and individual aircon more than offset older style fittings. Supermarket voucher was provided to restock stingy cleaning supplies (bin liners, d/wshr tabs) and the house was very clean. Highly recommended!

All Needs Met

Jessica Higgins - 27th August 2022

The house was perfect, access straight into the garage where we could store all out ski gear. The dry room was right next to the front door so no taking soggy snow pants through the house. The dry room had everything dry for the next day. With 4 bathrooms no one was waiting g around for a shower after a day on the slopes. The house was almost sound proof making it perfect for the kids staggered bed times. The table comfortably fit 8 of us for tea times. Each room had heating as did the bathrooms.

Great for a big group, small room for improvemens

Monica Philalay - 21st June 2022

We had a great stay, with plenty of room for a big group. Pro: drying room, lots of space, well equipped kitchen. Cons: it was pretty lame how stingy they were with supplies considering the price we paid, e.g. only supplying one (sometimes half) a roll of toilet paper per toilet, only two dishwasher tabs, advertising a fireplace but not providing firewood. The house is also very dated and the carpets could do with replacing.

Thank you for taking the time to review The Lakefront. We agree it is a great space! Thank you for your feedback on the amenities provided, we do advise you in your pre arrival information & the T&C's that we provide you with a starter pack and apologise if this wasn't made clearer. With your feedback, the owner has asked us to supply additional supplies for his property, which we will implement for future bookings. The house will have all new carpets in late October, this was originally slated for 2021 but was delayed due to COVID.

i ordered 9 single beds and only 7 were supplied which was not satisfactory.

Hi Peter, Thank you for your review and we sincerely apologise that the beds were not split. After looking into this, I have noticed a disconnect with our software and the Stayz portal and I have escalated this to our IT team to fix ASAP! Again we apologise and thank you for pointing this out as we are catching some issues that would of come up for future bookings.

At a great location with all of the necessities and amenities for a large family holiday.

Bruce Osborn - 23rd January 2022

Whilst not the most modern property it is very roomy and well fitted out and is ideally situated close to the lake and the central shopping area of Jindabyne. It has great views over the lake and the pool room and sauna add to its attraction.

Sue Beitz - 24th May 2021

A great place that accommodated 10 people keeping in mind 1 bedroom has no windows. Open fire is a must in winter. Great value We would stay again
