Good size but Dirty house for a Premium Price (5 days well over $8000)
Gary - 11th August 2023No spare bin liners supplied, 2 tea towels for 20 people, you will need to buy more & detergents, cleaning wipes, utensils-whisk & can opener, dirty& rat droppings around windows & in bed/rm 7 (a converted garage that houses the diesel heater & hot water) it’s noisy. Never had a vacuum used & carpets are covered in stains, rubbish behind furniture. Hot water just warm. Outdoor area, just as dirty, removed cow dung in seating area & bbq had to be cleaned before using, oven was new and it’s great.
Hi Gary, Thank you for your feedback and we apologise that your stay did not go as expected. We will pass on these issues to the owner and cleaners. We provide a "starter pack" for our guests and try to compensate any other items you may require with the $50 Friendly Grocer Voucher. Please remember we are only ever a phone call away and are more than happy to assist where we can during your stay! Kind regards, Accommodation Jindabyne
Awesome House!
Genevieve V - 13th July 2023Everything went well except for the WiFi that never worked during the entire stay. We called for support but was told they can't do anything about it.
Hi Genevieve, Thank you for your feedback, we love this property too, it has since been upgraded to Starlink so the internet issue is no longer! We are glad you enjoyed your stay, and we hope we will see you for your next holiday! Kind regards, Accommodation Jindabyne
Droves Rest
Billy P - 7th August 2022Excellent
We are so glad you enjoyed your time in Jindabyne and staying at Alpine Drovers Rest. We hope to welcome you back again soon.
We were a 3 generational family group of 17 - and we all had a great time. The house is huge, and has several good sized lounge areas, and TVs. The trampoline, basketball ball hoop and fire pit were great crowd pleasers. The indoor heating made the house very comfortable, and there was ample parking. Jindabyne was only a 12 minute drive away, which was very pleasant. Canoeing on the lake was terrific fun, and a group of us went fishing at the Trout farm nearby. That too was great. The main negative was the outdoor furniture, which was in a very poor state.
